What do you think of spec racing?
What I like about Spec racing is it keeps the competition level and puts the focus on the rider.
What’s it like to race an XR1200 spec class bike and how does the racing compare to your other events?
Its totally different. It requires a diffent setup and mindset, but I am having fun.

I really enjoy the racing and the comraderie of the riders.
What’s your typical pre-race meal?
I’m usually too anxious to eat much on race day. Fruit, water, powerbar, maybe. But after the race, watch out! It’s post race gorge time!
What is your pre-race OCD behavior?
Tugging on my gloves. Pacing back and forth.
What is one of your best racing memories?
Sharing the track with legends like Scott Russell, Jay Springsteen and Doug Polen in the Moto-GT endurance series. Good times.
What motivated you to get started racing?
13 speeding tickets
What would you be doing if you weren’t a professional motorcycle racer?
Probably going 100mph where I shouldn’t be
What’s the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Carrying the responsibility of a role model, and being rewarded for hard work.

Buell Ulysses XB12X street bike and Buell 1125R Daytona SportBike spec racer
